Just a note to tell you that my Mom joyfully finished her marathon yesterday at 97 years of age. She died very peacefully, never in any pain or distress and for that I am very thankful.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for your ongoing prayers and good thoughts during this time. You all are the BEST!
I'll be in touch soon~

Glenna, It's a wonderful thing to be able to look back on a life well-lived, a race well-run, and it sounds to me like your mom lived one of those lives. May the God of all comfort keep you calm through the days ahead. Hugs, Elaine

Although it is never easy to lose the ones we love, whether we have had many years with them or just a few, I'm sure it brings a measure of comfort to know it was peaceful for her.

Glenna, I am where you were at 2 1/2 years ago. My mom past away on Monday after a two year battle with brain cancer. I wasn't feeling like doing much this morning so I decided to distract myself by reading some quilt blogs. I came accross your blog through another blog I read. Seeing how you have moved forward has given me comfort today. Thank you. As you said and I agree with wholeheartedly, God's timing is perfect. He knew I needing a little something today and he used your blog to share it with me. Thank you.
